Edisen is seeking an IT Specialist who finds passion in the production and creative industry, located out of our New York office. Proven and relevant experience, with strong references, is essential. This is a hybrid role, with focus on the IT and Support department.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Provide first-line IT support for our employees, both on-site in New York and remote
- Prepare and configure hardware, software, and access for new employees
- Accurately document recurring problems and solutions in our knowledge management system
- Support in the management of software licensing and purchasing
- Represent the IT department by being resourceful, supportive, and prompt
- Assist people across the organization, ensuring they feel supported
- Partner with the Support team to take ownership of global customer issues reported via a Jira Service Desk Management
- Identify and see problems through to resolution by liaising with Edisen team members
- Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
- Support creative and production team members in edit and color suites
- Maintain local network, storage, and virtualization infrastructure
- Manage the project data lifecycle
WHAT YOU NEED
- To be considered candidates must be located in one of the following states: CA, CO, CT, IL, MA, MI, NY, TN, TX, VA
- 4+ years experience in IT and Support toles
- Basic understanding and experience with post production workflows is required
- Strong communication skills in English
- Strong experience with Mac hardware and software
- Good experience with PC hardware and Windows
- Good experience with the Office365 suite of products
- Experience with Jira Service Management or similar support ticketing systems
- Experience with networking and firewalls
- Experience with storage systems and file sharing
- Experience with creative industry software and hardware, preferred
- Experience with mobile device management systems, preferred
- Experience with Active Directory, preferred

Compensation: $65,000 - $85,000 annual salary
