About the Role: We are seeking an IT Solution Test Analyst to join our IT Quality team.
This position offers multiple work arrangements: on-site at our facility in Elkton, Maryland, a US West facility (Flagstaff or Phoenix, Arizona), hybrid or fully remote work allowedin most locations within the United States, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.*
Responsibilities:
- Ensure test cases are documented and executed following the requirements set forth by procedures and external requirements
- Provide leadership, oversight, and training related to test case development to multi-functional teams
- Provide oversight for test cases used in the validation of software, hardware, and networks, including risk-based approaches
- Implement and automate testing in line with wider business transformation strategy and planning
- Collaborate with business aligned teams to identify, design, and develop test plans and test cases
- Work with appropriate teams to establish quality expectations related to test planning and execution
- Manage test cases traceability and documentation
- Create reports on system quality and collect metrics on test cases and review tests results, modifying tests if necessary
- Support and monitor defect resolution
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years in a computer system testing or validation role
- Minimum of 3 years in a quality assurance or information technology role
- Demonstrated experience creating test plans and test cases
- Demonstrated understanding of software quality assurance processes, SDLC methodology, change management, documentation, verification, and testing techniques
- Ability to articulate testing and quality requirements to project members not familiar with software quality assurance techniques
- Proficiency in effectively interacting with cross-functional contacts, including project teams and vendors
- Ability tohandle multiple projects and priorities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to travel 5%
- Previous experience in the life sciences industry
- Previous experience utilizing paperless validation solutions, an ALM or a VLCM
