Form of workPlease Note:
- Candidates in the local to Washington, D.C. metropolitan area are preferred, however other location will be considered.
- Commuting expenses will not be reimbursed.
- ALL Candidates MUST be a US Citizen or have Permanent Resident Status for at least 3 Consecutive Years.
Description of Assignment:
- Work with ALC developers to convert legacy code from ALC to JAVA.
- Develop modernized code in JAVA
- Document existing logic
- Work in agile team to modernize existing systems.
Requirements
Basic Requirements:
- Active IRS MBI clearance
- Bachelor\u2019s Degree or above preferred. More experience is required for non-degreed candidates
- A minimum of 3 \u2013 8* years collective developing applications in IBM Assembler Language
- Experience with Requirements definitions, Development or Testing of the IRS Individual Master File or Business Master File
- Prior experience working on Agile teams.
- Excellent communication skills with client stakeholders at all organizational and technical levels
- Demonstrated ability to seek out information (proactive learning)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team
