About the role:
The main role of the IT Service Desk Intern is to ensure that all employees' IT-related problems are addressed and rectified. This role requires helping users with a wide range of IT tasks throughout a typical day. It also entails recommending and administrating upgrades, repairs, and enhancements to the various computers, devices, and software employees use. When necessary, this position will require you to assist other members of the department in their daily operations as well as learn to perform their duties to lessen the workload in the other departments.
What you'll do:

• Act as the first responder as users encounter problems with any information technology-related task.
• Prepare computers for employees, including setting up new computers, clearing data off previously used computers, and preparing them for use by another user.
• Contact appropriate 3rd party vendors for part replacements and/or make an appointment for repairs by a technician.
• Assist RoundGlass employees with onsite issues such as connecting monitors for meetings and other issues.
• Clean workstations of malicious software, such as viruses and spyware
• Perform research on unresolved issues relating to all aspects of the department.
• Install applications and educate employees on software specific to their jobs.
• Lifting and transporting equipment of various weights and bulk
• Other duties as assigned.

Who we're looking for:

• Must be enrolled in a college degree (Computer Science or related field)
• Working knowledge of computer hardware, including printers, routers, and switches
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Skilled background in iOS, MAC, Android, Windows, and other products as issues arise.
• Ability to work within a team environment, sharing workload and responsibilities.
• Effective verbal, phone, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Capable of maintaining corporate and job-related confidential information
• Ability to analyze, document, and optimize business and technical processes.
• Developed problem-solving skills including the ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical users.

Pay & Benefits:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $68,000-$75,000. Compensation offered will be determined by level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for a bonus incentive as part of a full salary package. In addition, Roundglass offers comprehensive benefits: Regular 9 federal holidays and 1 floating holiday, 3 days of bereavement, 2 days of jury duty, medical/dental/vision with PPO/HSA plans with employer contribution, EAP provided by CIGNA and Standard, Pet Insurance for your furry friends, Basic Life/LTD/STD employer paid, 401k plan with maximum match of $5,000.00, PTO (paid time off) 120 hours to start and increased by years of service.
