It Security And Support Specialist (Junior)

Worth AI is seeking a Junior IT Security and Support Specialist to join our team. As an IT Security and Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the Security and smooth operation of our technological infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures, managing user access controls, and providing technical support to our employees. You will work closely with our IT team to identify and mitigate potential security risks, respond to security incidents, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Initial triage, troubleshoot, maintain entries of detailed updates & resolve Internal IT Help Desk tickets
• Ensures incidents and requests are handled according to service level agreements (SLA) by taking ownership or of incidents/requests through to resolution/fulfillment.
• Execute the plans set forth by the Information Systems Manager on a technical level
• Endpoint Configuration for multiple operating systems including MacOS and Windows devices
• Maintain Asset Inventory across multiple locations
• Hardware & Peripheral support and maintenance
• Assist in companywide technology projects and implementations as needed, including design, deployment and configuration of applications, hardware, and tools
• Assist with security tasks such as patch management in Windows, Mac and Linux environments.
• Create and maintain configuration documentation, as well as system and operations documentation.
• Maintain existing & collaborate on creating automation scripts for MacBook deployments
• Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and risks
• Implement and manage security measures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security incidents
• Monitor system logs and network traffic for indicators of potential security threats
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation
• Stay up to date with the latest security trends and emerging threats
• Respond to and investigate security incidents, providing timely and effective resolution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are implemented throughout the organization
• Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of security-consciousness

Requirements

• 1+ years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proven experience working in IT security or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of security principles and best practices
• Familiarity with common security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
• Experience with identity and access management systems
• Knowledge of network security protocols and technologies (e.g., firewalls, VPNs)
• Superb verbal and electronic communication skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce strong results
• Able to work independently and be a self starter
• Strong working familiarity with Mac OS X
• Experience with all Apple Products (MacBook, MacMini, iPhone, iPad, AppleTV, etc.)
• Knowledge of troubleshooting & maintaining VoIP phones systems
• Experience with troubleshooting, installation, maintenance of
• Office Equipment such as printers, headsets, conference web equipment, desk phones, monitors, TVs
• Proficient with multiple Web Conferencing Applications & related hardware
• Solid understanding of network concepts and troubleshooting skills, DNS, IP and network hardware
• Familiarity developing scripts for automating administrative tasks
• Additional Applications Experience is a Plus: Google Suite, Okta, Jamf, Slack, Zoom, Jira, HubSpot, Dialpad, and/or Zapier
• Ability to carry/relocate computer & other electronic equipment weighing up to 60 lbs
