Position: Insurance Domain IT Project Manager

Job Summary:
As an Insurance Domain IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing IT projects within the insurance domain. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of technology solutions that meet business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of the insurance industry, project management methodologies, and strong leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate and facilitate project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project deliverables and success criteria.
2. Insurance Domain Expertise:
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of insurance industry processes, regulations, and business workflows.
- Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing technology solutions within the insurance domain.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to insurance.
3. Stakeholder Management:
- Establish and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with business analysts to gather and prioritize project requirements.
- Present project updates and status reports to key stakeholders.
4. Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Proactively address issues and challenges that may impact project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
5. Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure successful project outcomes.
6. Quality Assurance:
- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Conduct regular reviews of project deliverables to ensure they meet established standards.
7. Budget Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Monitor and control project expenses to stay within budget constraints.
8. Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
- Create and maintain project artifacts, including requirements, design documents, and test plans.
Job Type: Contract
Salary: From $60.00 per hour
