Form of workThe Business Application Solutions (BAS) Team develops and maintains highly effective, secure, and innovative systems, empowering the firm to make informed decisions. The Project Manager of this team will be responsible for planning and managing the execution of team projects from start to finish by leading the team through the project life cycle.
They will be responsible for aligning projects with business goals, constructing detailed work plans, achieving milestones, and communicating the results across a stakeholder audience.
How You Will Make an Impact at Rehmann:
- Assisting in gathering project requirements, involving all stakeholders and ensuring feasibility
- Planning, budgeting, scheduling, and tracking a project plan
- Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project scope, requirements, deadlines, and schedules
- Identifying and mitigate risks to project schedule or deliverables
- Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues
- Managing changes to project scope and schedule
- Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to best practices
- Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information
- Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution
- Coordinating the development of user manuals, training materials, and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and hand-off of the process or system to the clients
- Obtaining customer acceptance of project deliverables
- Managing customer satisfaction within the project transition period
- Conducting post-project evaluation lessons learned to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
- Coaching team members with prioritization, time management, and keeping resource plans up to date
- Assisting with coordination of resources across projects and tasks
Your Desired Skills, Values & Experiences:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related technology degree preferred
- Possess advanced training and / or experience in project management, PMP Certification preferred
- Experience managing projects, timelines, agile development strategies
- Experience with at least one project/program management methodology
- Articulate in speech; communicates in a clear, fact-based manner
- Able to communicate detailed results in the context of the situation
- Writes clearly, concisely and correctly when presenting findings in correspondence
- Self-motivated and able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
