BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Project Manager for an opportunity in Chicago, IL.

Job Type: CONTRACT

Pay Rate: $60/Hr to $65/Hr

Job Description:

Responsibilities of Delivery Lead on Finance Redesign program:

- managing delivery activities for Finance Redesign across multiple delivery teams in Front Office and Finance Technology

- preparing for and leading program Working Group and Operating Committee

- looking after program financials

- ensuring deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management Standards.

Essential Skills:

* Project management experience in a Financial Services environment.

* Knowledge of Daily PNL Production process within a Global Markets Finance function.

* Understanding of Agile and Lean software development practices and associated tools.

* Ability to drive resolution of complex issues across multiple delivery teams.

* Appreciation of the importance of the whole project-lifecycle and business delivery.

* Drive changes in working practices to make delivery more efficient.

Competencies:

* Ability to communicate and influence at all levels.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven global team interaction.

* Willingness to learn, adopt and advance team best-practices, procedures and qualitative standards.

* Willingness to own issues and chase them through to completion, communicating effectively and in a timely manner, throughout.

* Good team communication, with experiences in sharing and presenting new ideas and approaches with the team.

* Experience managing project/programme financials. * Knowledge of Bank technologies (Quartz/RemoteRisk/RRA/Zinc).

* Investment banking experience, with front or middle office team experience advantageous.

* Appreciation of Risk Awareness (Inc. Operational, Compliance, Business Reputational).
