Under direct supervision the IT Data Center Project Coordinator tracks project progress and offers support to project teams. Provides administrative support and coordination to IT Data Center projects.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise assigned projects to meet organization goals and requirements.
- Monitor and track project's progress and handle any issues that arise.
- Produce and update reports and dashboards of project statuses.
- Support teams in developing and updating project documentation, as needed.
- Work with project team to determine hardware, software, maintenance, and professional service requirements, and oversee project procurement process. Interpret and perform initial negotiations of contractual agreements between Tire Rack legal and vendors.
- Establish and lead project teams to produce project deliverables according to the designated schedule, budget, and scope.
- Perform project closure and deposit all project documentation into PMO repository for future reference.
- Assist with managing outages and facilitating terms and conditions reviews.
- Work with AVP of Systems Engineering to manage project prioritization and resource allocation on an ongoing basis.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- Certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM) Certification from Project Management Institute (PMI) or ability to earn the certification within first 6 months of employment.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills; effectively motivates and builds self-confidence in others.
- Proven experience in problem solving and decision-making.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail, communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior leaders.
