Job Overview:
The IT Program Manager for Revenue Cycle is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the successful execution of multiple IT projects as it relates to the TeamHealth RCM billing systems. This role involves strategic planning, resource allocation, risk management and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The IT Program Manager ensures that these projects align with organizational goals, adhering to timelines and budgets and delivers high-quality outcomes. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
Essential Functions & Duties:
- Program Planning: Develop and implement program plans, outlining project timelines, milestones, and resource requirements
- Program Portfolio Management: Maintain an overview of all projects within the program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Resource Management: Determine resource requirements and constraints across the Billing Systems project portfolio
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks to the program and develop strategies for risk mitigation
- Budget Oversight: Monitoring to ensure project comes in on budget
- Stakeholder Communication: communicate regularly with stakeholders both within IT and HCFS, providing updates on project progress and addressing concerns
- Quality Assurance: Establish quality standards for project deliverables ensuring both alignment with defined criteria as well as industry best practices
- Change Management: Effectively manage changes to project scope, reducing disruption and maintaining program objectives
- Documentation: maintain standards for program documentation, including project plans, status reports and risk assessments
