POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the management of workflow throughout IT Operations. This includes ensuring operational systems are updated with appropriate changes within systems that support processing operations. This role will work closely with IT Operations Managers and IT Operations Analysts to optimize daily activities and performance of IT operations areas.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Collects and organizes information from various sources within IT.
- Responsible for identifying and solving problems within the IT Operations area.
- Advises IT Operations Analysts and Managers on capabilities within systems to improve operational performance.
- Must be able to master multiple applications within environment.
- Ensures implementation of solutions hit target improvements.
- Responsible for the completion of all compliance training related to the position and continuing professional education to maintain professional certifications.
- Understands all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and comply with the requirements.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Performs all other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
- One (1) or more years of experience in an IT operational role preferred.
- Knowledge of computer hardware.
- Ability to direct other IT colleagues through issues and project.
- Ability to learn new systems and processes rapidly.
- Troubleshooting skills of applications.
- Good analytical skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple project tasks and work to completion in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills to Manager.
- Proven record of good quality of work.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
IBM iSeries, Network/Hardware Monitoring Systems, Document Management/Imaging
EDUCATION
College degree within IT fields of study preferred
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to travel to all locations as needed for meetings, seminars, etc.
