Mainframe and/or Distributed Batch processing

Network Operations experience: Successful candidates in the past have had experience working in a NOC type of environment where they've monitored and troubleshooted systems/infrastructure related issues.

If candidates have experience working with IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler that would be a plus.

Infrastructure Monitoring/Support experience. If candidates have experience working hands on with Networking equipment that would also be a plus.

Qualifications:

We’re looking for a Solution Analyst I to join our Technology Operations team. In this role, you’ll help monitor and support our infrastructure (network and mainframe) via software tools to meet business partners' goals. This team provides timely support and assistance of problem determination by quickly identifying, analyzing, and reporting on all relevant issues.

• Associates or Bachelors degree (preference in a computer science, technology, engineering or math-related field) or equivalent work experience

• Advanced computer skills

• Strong planning/organizational, problem-solving, analytical, decision-making and communication skills

• Ability to obtain certification(s) in an IT-related field a plus

• Basic knowledge of insurance and financial services products preferred

• Basic presentation and leadership skills required

• Must be able to maintain a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality

Responsibilities:

•Handle daily operational work in a timely and accurate manner. Provide feedback or ideas as needed for success

•Thorough investigation, documentation of issues, troubleshooting, collaboration with partners and all team members and leadership; appropriate documentation and escalation, if needed

•Be proficient in all forms of communication and keep tickets/tools/chats current and accurate

•Follow through on outstanding and ongoing issues to help maintain a level of ‘ownership’ and quality of tickets/issues within TOC

•Ensure consistent execution of operational processes and assigned duties; recognize the need and help teammates where needed

•Create or help develop documentation and/or training material

•Model positive responses to change and work with team members to encourage this mindset
