Responsibilities
- This position is a leadership and management position of the organization’s IT assets and should be able to design resilient IT solutions to meet the firm’s future growth.
- Maintain full confidentiality on sensitive issues and ensure full confidentiality of system information.
- Manage the expectations of the firm’s institutional clients during audits and as required.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required, with the ability to connect to all end users, IT team, and Leadership; provide quick turnaround solutions to end user issues.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures in consultation with senior management.
- Diagnose and resolve system hardware, software, and user problems in a remote working environment.
- Manage, test, and maintain the firm’s multi-site Disaster Recovery Solution.
- Implement, manage, and monitor a wide range of security-based solutions.
- Prepare updates for legislative tracking website.
- Microsoft Active Directory management and troubleshooting, including Group Policy.
- Provide ongoing training and improve workflows with robust processes as required by the client and/or management.
- Create and maintain documentation/training on IT systems and software.
- Monitor employee productivity for remote employees
- Responsible for creating yearly capital and operational IT budget and overseeing IT purchases.
Qualifications
- Microsoft Office/Office 365
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012 and 2016; including Windows 10 and 11
- Adobe Acrobat
- Knowledge of CaseAware and PHP preferred.
- Web Security Filters; Barracuda Security
- MYSQL and Apache
- Remote Support Software – GoTo Resolve
- Conferencing Software – MS Teams, Goto Meeting and Zoom
- VPN Software – Fortigate is a plus.
- Must be able to troubleshoot and resolve issues locally as well as remotely.
- Must have experience working with remote users.
- Preferred 3 years prior related IT management experience, Law Firm experience, Elite Billing, and/or other related case management programs.
- QuickBooks maintenance is a plus.
