POSITION SUMMARY The IT Manager is directly responsible and accountable for the smooth running of our computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines. We are looking for someone who has the technological skills to make us even more efficient. This person will analyze current systems and assets, recommend, and implement solutions and upgrades, and provide training. You will supervise the implementation and maintenance of our company’s computing needs in AWS cloud environments.The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of network maintenance, experience as a manager, and advanced industry knowledge to keep us on the cutting edge. The IT manager will have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our operations and a long-term impact on our overall growth.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS•Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure.•Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.•Manage IT staff by recruiting, training, and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, and appraising their performance.•Design, develop, implement, audit, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures.•Analyze processes, technologies, and vendors continually to find areas for improvement.•Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software.•Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes.•Managing third-party helpdesk, to ensure their timely response to urgent tickets in accordance with the SLA. •Partner with the security team to ensure data security, network access and backup systems.•Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy.•Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.•Preserve assets, information security, document tracking and control structures.•Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness.•Lead large IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services.•Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs.•Analyze departmental needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy. •Ensure network components work together seamlessly to meet business needs, using their full range of capabilities, and stay informed about new features and competitor solutions.•Working in an integrated and productive fashion with Information Security which is a prominent function at FS-ISAC.•Develop and execute disaster planning and maintain data backups.•Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT. •Monitoring the Datawatch system in coordination with the security team.•Other duties as required.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS •Experience defining, implementing, and verifying technical security controls.•Working knowledge of common AWS cloud services.•Experience with authentication, authorization, and SSO technologies, such as SAML, OIDC, and OAuth•Deep knowledge of programming languages and operating systems, current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and systems performance monitoring•Expertise in implementing, configuring, and testing IT solutions.•Strong creative and analytical thinking•Strong understanding of IAAC, CI/CD tools and security best practices, such as Terraform, GitHub Actions, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.•Strong understanding of access control systems such as Datawatch.•Knowledge of encryption, key management, and data retention best practices•Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.•Ability to lead a team and work hands on when needed.•Demonstrated teamwork and dependability.•Continuous improvement and product evolution focus.•Global work experience & multi-cultural knowledge a plus•Fundamental belief that security is a business enablement function.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE•Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.•Rounded technical experience in security, programming, networks, data analysis, cloud computing.•Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices•5+ years of experience working in IT operations.•Experience leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies.•Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems.•Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.•Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize.•2+ years’ experience in managing a team of IT/ security professionals
