Role Description
SME is looking for a passionate and skilled IT Change Manager to join our growing team. As the IT Change Manager, you will manage and oversee all aspects of IT related changes on the production and development Mission Networks within the Agency. You will leverage your expertise in change management processes within the planning, design, implementation, testing, and release phases of developmental and production networks throughout the entire lifecycle for hardware and software. Your critical role is to ensure changes are implemented efficiently, minimizing disruption, optimizing efficiency, tracked, and reported. This role requires a seasoned IT professional with the ability to provide change management support, processes, and services to meet business needs and requirements. You will develop innovative solutions to complex problems. You may work without considerable direction and may mentor and/or supervise team members.
Qualifications
- Experience implementing and supporting IT Change Management throughout the entire IT lifecycle of systems
- Experience tracking and reporting all problems and changes across multiple networks
- Experience working and collaborating with multiple teams to capture change requests
- Experience with BMC Remedy tool
- Experience coordinating, facilitating, and leading Change Request review meetings with all stakeholders
- Security+ CE or 8570 IAT Level II equivalent
- Experience communicating Change Management objectives, timelines, risks, and mitigations
- Ability to regularly report on the status of changes to stakeholders
- In-depth knowledge of Agile, ITIL framework and IT Service Management
- Knowledge of Remedy Incident, Problem, Knowledge, and Reporting modules
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years directly related experience or Master’s degree and 3+ years directly related experience preferred.
- Years of experience and/or certifications may be accepted in lieu of degree.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance is required.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive base salary based on relevant experience and education.
- Average starting range: $90,000-$175,000.
- 20% 401k Employer contribution - no matching required--100% vested day 1.

Total compensation: $121,500-$236,250
