About the Role
The IT Lead & Information Security Analyst will be the Initial point of contact for all new IT services related all IT related equipment. They will be responsible for internal IT support within the Magna Mirrors North America office. The position also plays a vital role in protecting the organization’s proprietary and sensitive information. The role requires the ability to identify and correct deficiencies in systems and processes. The Security Analyst will work with various departments to ensure security controls are implemented per Magna’s policies, legislation and compliance regimes such as TISAX. The role will also help with Audit preparations and remediation.
Your Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot problems reported by users through email, phone call, face-to-face, and the Matrix42 helpdesk system.
- Administer desktop computers, printers, VOIP phones, software, and miscellaneous hardware.
- Create quotes based on individual user needs to meet company goals. Order and receive hardware/software.
- Maintain and ensure network integrity through WAN/LAN system. Troubleshoot to help Network team isolate and solve issues. Setup and Maintain IP Addresses.
- Supports the Mirrors Engineering Center with Information Security activities while working with various departments to protect Company’s valuable assets and intellectual property
- Leads efforts to install security controls and implement solutions to protect systems and infrastructure
- Monitors Information Security controls in order to improve security posture
- Supports risk management activities and provides input on mitigation controls and the implementation of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) based on industry standards like ISO 27001/2 and NIST-800-53

Your preferred qualifications
- Hands on knowledge, IT - Information Systems and Information Security
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience within Information Technology field
- Computer IT related degree: min 2-years diploma; Bachelor’s Degree is beneficial
- Outstanding communication skills are required
- Experience with ISMS implementation
- Accredited IT / Security certifications
- Automotive or Manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of security standards, frameworks and regulations such as ISO 27001 and 27002, NIST 800-53, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, GDPR, TISAX, TIPSR, SOX, ITIL, COBIT or similar
