Position Overview: This role entails delivering on-site IT support across diverse environments, including internal users within office and warehouse/distribution settings, as well as external users operating in work-from-home setups. The position operates within a matrix reporting structure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Servers, SAN, PCs, networks, switches, telephone systems, and peripheral devices (printers, scanners, mobile/smart phones) in adherence to established business standards.
- Provide desktop support for client software, including the MS Office suite and Syscom ERP.
- Offer advice and guidance to colleagues facing incidents, ensuring effective problem resolution.
- Identify, log, and resolve technical issues with software applications or network systems.
- Recognize potential changes and propose system improvements to senior leadership for evaluation and potential implementation. Ensure work is executed within agreed service levels and follows departmental guidelines.
- Generate, update, and disseminate progress reports to senior leadership.
- Maintain up-to-date client databases, documenting solutions and activities clearly.
- Clearly articulate and document technical issues for clients while utilizing the call logging system to accurately record telephone requests.
Skills and Qualifications:
- This position requires excellent customer service skills in face-to-face, telephone, or electronic interactions.
- Strong language and communication skills, coupled with superior problem-solving abilities, are crucial.
- The ability to work autonomously, supported by relevant certifications such as Microsoft, VMWare, Cisco, or equivalent, is essential.
- Proficiency in computer support and troubleshooting, along with an excellent understanding of Windows 10, Windows Server platforms, VMWare, MS Office suite, and Office 365 is required.
- A deep knowledge of server and PC hardware, storage technologies, and understanding of networks, switches, routers, and firewall technologies is expected.
- The candidate should exhibit strong teamwork and project prioritization skills.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
