Position Description:
The Financial Markets Manager reports to the Senior Manager of Financial Markets. The position develops strategies and provide oversight of daily operations for a best-in-class Treasury team supporting capital markets and debt management, financial risk management and enterprise planning activities. The position is responsible for overseeing daily operations and help to identify, measure, and hedge foreign exchange risk. The position continually seeks to build efficiencies and improve system utilization, procedures, and management reporting to help build a world-class treasury infrastructure to support the New Consumer Health Company's growth (NCHC).
This role maintains close collaboration and partnership with legal, tax and accounting to ensure regulatory compliance, control, and accurate financial reporting. This position will also involve frequent communication with external financial institutions as well as main banking partners.
The position includes the following key responsibilities:
- Manage the foreign exchange hedging programs and hedging portfolio, including identifying foreign currency exposures and developing appropriate hedge proposals
- Manage the execution of daily FX trades including derivatives hedging with bank counterparties
- Oversee the daily, weekly, and monthly preparation of management reporting
- Recommend, improve, and implement approved Foreign Exchange hedging strategies
- Oversee the preparation of reporting, including internal and other external audit requests
- Manage the relationships with FX banking partners and oversee the foreign exchange confirmations and settlement process
- Monitoring current market conditions and market research
- Work closely with cross functional and international groups to ensure solid understanding of risk drivers
- Drive Financial Markets projects for ad-hoc analysis or transactions partnering with finance, accounting, FP&A, tax, legal, and IT
- Oversee long-term consolidated financial forecasts for enterprise interest income/expense and cash flow
- Responsible for SOX and policy compliance and review FX-related SEC reporting and disclosures
- Partner with Treasury and IT to maintain, automate, and streamline FX and related systems
Qualifications
Position Requirements:
- Proficient in Excel, Bloomberg or Reuters, SAP
- Knowledge of financial risk management and banking relationships
- Strong financial acumen
- Strong people management skills
- Ability to adapt and lead in a changing environment
- Analytical and problem-solving skills (must be able to reason through complex and various business and legal scenarios and structures and provide meaningful feedback for decision making)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (including ability to interact with all levels of management within and outside of finance)
- Proven experience in leading small projects or components of large, complex projects
- Ability to demonstrate experience in overseeing the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance
- Fluent in English as a minimum
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience
- Bachelor's and/or master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Knowledge of capital markets, accounting, finance, and tax
- Experience working with global financial operations and managing a global team
- Experience in Treasury Management Systems
