Purpose of Job
Oversees the planning, production, support, security and efficient delivery of IT infrastructure services while ensuring alignment with overall organizational strategy. This includes oversight of IT systems and all support operations, including all systems, servers, networking, and telecommunications. The IT Infrastructure and Security Manager is also responsible for communicating and negotiating with service providers and other stakeholders, collaborating with Senior IT Leadership to develop strategic IT service plans.
Major Duties/Responsibilities

- Manage project deliverables including system configurations, extensions, views, customizations, modifications, reports, and workflows. Serves as a subject matter expert and/or technical solution architect on complex project implementations.
- Responsible for network operations and service levels for data and voice networking hardware and software, virtual machines, wireless/route/switch equipment, and network security.
- Develops and implements standards, procedures, and processes for the network operations group to support new technologies while maintaining data center performance and reliability.
- Assesses and identifies opportunities to the company's technology environment and makes recommendations for implementation and assists with the development, implementation of system standards, policies and procedures.
- Provides supervision, guidance, leadership, and training to the IT Infrastructure and security team.
- Monitors and evaluates the performance of IT, recommend, and implements personnel actions, such as hiring, promotion and dismissals.
- Assesses and identifies opportunities to the company's technology environment and makes recommendations for implementation and assists with the development, implementation of system standards, policies and procedures.
Education, Experience and Knowledge
Required and/or preferred level of education, knowledge and skills that are necessary.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in related field, or equivalent applicable work experience
- CompTIA Security+ Certifiation preferred
- 3+ years of management experience preferred, including managing multiple cross-functional teams and projects, and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders
- 5+ years IT operations experience preferred, including desktop support, network engineering and administration, and production support of a multi-platform environment
- 3+ years' experience in automotive industry preferred
- Experience maintaining and supporting the following are preferred:
- Cisco Catalyst/Nexus, SAN/NAS, and VMware vCenter/vSphere
- Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, and Office 365
- Plex, EDI, DSI MEP, and Microsoft SharePoint
- Citrix or VMware View VDI
- Sophos Antivirus, Malware Protection, Firewall and Encryption
- Experience with an international organization preferred, particularly with Japanese and/or Mexican experience
- Experience with automotive supplier environment
Special Training or Competency
Observation, understanding, and execution of applicable company ISO/TS/IATF certification standards related to the role and impact on the overall organization.

Work Hours Monday-Friday, 8 am - 5pm. Off-hours as needed. Travel Requirements
10% international and/or domestic.
