Overview: We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Help Desk Technician, Level 1 Support. This role is ideal for someone with a keen interest in computers and software, looking to start their career in IT. No formal degrees are required, but a passion for technology and a willingness to learn are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level contact and convey resolutions to user issues.
- Accurately process and record call transactions using a computer and designated tracking software.
- Offer support for onboarding and offboarding of users.
- Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
- Follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting.
Required Skills:
- Strong interest in computers, software, and technology.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
- Proficiency in English.
- Superior customer service skills.
