IT Field Service Technician
Location: Pittsburgh, PA service area
Pay Rate: $20/hour W2, plus travel and mileage expenses (Increase to $22/hour upon conversion)
Hours: Full Time, Monday-Friday, 9AM-6PM (On-call rotation)
Duration: Contract-to-Hire
We need a Field Tech to service the client base in the Pittsburgh service area. This tech would travel around Pittsburgh and north/eastern suburbs and handle service calls on IT equipment.
Description:
- Field dispatch cases at customer sites, including repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and other various equipment. Covering a portion of the Pittsburgh, PA service area
- Projects and cases installing, refreshing, replacing, and removing equipment.
- Working with end-users to resolve issues.
- Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.
- Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
- Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
- Providing updates to management as needed.

Skills:
- At least 2 years of Field Service experience
- Lexmark printer experience highly desired
- A+ Certification is preferred
- Desktop, Laptop, Printer, POS break fix
- Must be able to follow written instructions
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills
- Troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
- Hardware installation
- Reliable Transportation required (This is a driving position)
