Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Engineering SystemsSupport Analystto join our team! In this role you will get to provide technical support to employees that are utilizing CAD, BIM and 3D design software packages .
What You'll Be Doing:
Provide general troubleshooting and system maintenance required for advanced workstations employed for CAD and engineering production.
Address daily support requests from end users forwarded by the IS Service Desk. Refers complex issues, questions and problems to more senior ES team members.
Apply knowledge of advanced workstations to troubleshoot hardware and configuration issues (graphic adaptors, driver configuration, etc).
Participate in regular upgrades, modifications or enhancements to existing ES systems and with implementation of new ES systems.
Install and configure ES-related software applications to meet requirements established by a project.
Assist other Parsons IT teams (e.g. desktop support team) with set up and support of Parsons ES delivery system (Appsetra).
Identify advanced issues, questions and problems and elevates those to ES Analyst or Senior Analyst.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Associate's Degree in Computer Science, information systems, engineering or related technical discipline, with experience in both engineering and IT. and 2+ years of progressive experience working in one or more of the following areas: engineering, design, architecture, application systems
Written and oral communication skills appropriate for the position, including the ability to speak well in basic professional situations.
Ability to write basic documents (may include email or memos).
CAD, BIM and 3D design software packages
General knowledge of engineering and design applications such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, ProjectWise™
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Knowledge of advanced computer hardware, such as 2D and 3D workstations utilized for engineering and design operations and production.
Familiar with standard systems and tools that provide ES problem resolution and tracking.
Working knowledge of computer-aided engineering, tools and methodology.
Ability to work effectively with end users and as a member of the ES team.
Written and oral communication skills appropriate for the position.
