Job Summary
The IT Asset & Procurement Administrator is a key member of the ZOLL Global IT Technology Services team who will play a pivotal role in managing ZOLL's IT infrastructure through CMDB management. This role involves ensuring accurate tracking and management of IT assets and maintaining a comprehensive CMDB to support effective IT service management and decision making. This position will also be responsible for overseeing and managing the purchasing of Global IT equipment, software, and services within the organization. They will have a keen eye for process improvements as they will be required to contribute to the continual service improvement of the Asset Management and Procurement processes.
Essential Functions
- Manage the procurement process for Global IT assets including hardware, software, and services.
- Manage the Oracle requisition to P.O. process for Global IT, including tasks such as receiving, entering, and managing requisition requests, monitoring their status, and serving as a point of escalation and remediation.
- Establish a good working relationship and liaise with the Purchasing department to steward the lifecycle of requisition to purchase order.
- Monitor IT procurement budgets and report on spending.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with organizational policies.
- Work with 3rd party vendors to ensure proper documentation is received and coordinated for payment processing.
- Oversee the lifecycle management of IT assets including hardware, software, and services.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure asset compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Develop, configure, and maintain the Configuration Management Database.
- Ensure accurate representation of IT infrastructure and services in the CMDB.
- Collaborate with teams internally to IT and externally to align the CMDB with IT Service Management processes.
- Work closely with IT and Finance to help manage IT asset budgets and forecasts.
- Liaise with various departments to understand their IT asset needs and CMDB requirements.
- Provide training and support to staff on asset management and CMDB usage.
- Prepare and present reports on asset utilization, lifecycle status, and CMDB accuracy.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for IT assets and CMDB processes.
Required/Preferred Education and Experience
- Associate's Degree Technology Related Field required
- 2+ years experience in technical support/service IT field required
- 2+ years experience in IT asset management and procurement required
- ITIL v4 Foundation certification Preferred

- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
- Experience with ITSM tools and managing a CMDB, preferably in ServiceNow
- Oracle experience preferred
Salary for this position is $63,500 - $80,000.00 annually. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location.
