The Application Administrator is responsible for operational and business support for Enterprise Multi-Media repositories. The Administrator is responsible for maintaining SRP Solutions in compliance with security policies and vendor requirements. This position is responsible for ensuring the solutions are readily available and meet their availability goals as part of the Disaster Recovery plan. The Administrator is responsible for support documentation and technical training of other team members.
- Provides day to day administration, support, and monitoring of SRP's enterprise content management systems
- Assists business units in maturing their solution configuration
- Build and implement new business unit solutions
- Monitor business unit activity in effort to find automation opportunities
- Supports integrations with other SRP applications
- Plan and perform periodic patching and platform upgrades
- Develop and maintain operational documentation
- Provide tier 2 and 3 technical and functional support
- Participate in weekly on-call rotation
Promotion to Level 2 requires a minimum of two years experience at Level 1 and demonstrated capability to perform advanced and more difficult work as determined by the supervisor. Promotion to Senior Level requires a minimum of 3 years experience at Level 2, is fully competent in all aspects of functional area of assignment and as such would be recognized as a specialist in area of assignment and may have periodic or occasional lead responsibilities.
Application Administration experience that prepares the individual to perform the stated job duties.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- Consults with business units to deliver solutions including design, implementation, and migration
- Translates business requirements into functional application solutions
- Provides integration support
- Developers access solution via TIBCO; team provides knowledge of APIs and repository best practices
- Support of vendor supplied modules for linking repositories
- Monitors solutions to proactively identify issues/risks and provide resolution
- Responsible for executing the application roadmap
- Works with other IT teams on system error remediation
- Understands Microsoft SQL, Apache Tomcat, SOLR, Microsoft IIS
- Works with business users and IT technical staff in a team environment
- Communicates effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrates ability to take initiative and accountability for achieving results

- IPV
- OpenText Media Management
- OpenText LiveSite
- OpenText TeamSite
- Bentley ProjectWise
- Transcoding Solutions (AME, FFMPEG, etc.)
