JOB SUMMARY
Reporting directly to an IT Director or Manager, responsible for independently analyzing, defining, and creating technological solutions for multiple and/or critical IT systems to solve business problems and meet organizational needs. Has the authority to make decisions and serves as the primary technology owner for a designated technology area. Level III of III Analysts.

EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED
- Performs technical analysis of applicable data to produce products and solutions to resolve technology-related business problems
- Provides advanced technical consulting and support services as needed
- Analyzes and tests new or existing procedures and develops alternative workflow solutions
- Performs moderate to complex computer systems and server environment analysis work to ensure stable systems for all users throughout the county
- Analyzes and defines business processes associated with any system enhancement
- Participates in designing and maintaining system configuration and setup
- Makes technical decisions to best complete tasks and projects
- Designs and delivers training programs
- Trains and assists Analyst I and II positions as necessary
- Represents the IT department at various meetings
- Works as part of a team to procure and implement major systems or upgrades to existing applications and systems
- Performs special duties as assigned
Specialized Assignments:
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Analyst Assignment
- Diagnoses and performs troubleshooting tasks for a full spectrum of support cases across all elements of the county's ERP and any connected systems, to determine an appropriate resolution.
- Develops application and database components to support application development in collaboration with the Database Administrators (DBA) and other technical personnel.
- Administers and maintains the county's ERP and related software solutions to support the county's business processes.
- Ensures seamless integration with IT systems while managing system updates and testing cycles in collaboration with the DBA and end-users.

- Position involves prolonged sitting at a workstation, reaching, walking, twisting, bending, repetitive motions, and standing

- Work is primarily indoors in an air-conditioned office

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's degree in a related field and five (5) years of job-related experience; or seven (7) years of job-related experience
- Demonstrated experience with process improvement methodology including defining and documenting workflow
- Possess and maintain a personally-owned mobile device capable of receiving calls, text messages, and emails
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Required (or able to obtain during onboarding period)
- Technology certifications or accreditations: GRCP, CGEIT, PMI-RMP, CGRC, CRMA, CIPP/US, CIPT
Required within thirty (30) days of employment
- Valid driver's license
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Analyst Assignment:
- Four (4) years of ERP experience
- Oracle PL/SQL and/or SQL Server programming experience
- Knowledge of ERP development tools, coding languages and databases
- Strong understanding of accounting practices, ERP financials, procurement, human resource management and related business processes.
