Irrigation Technician- Osprey Cove Golf Club

Osprey Cove Golf Club, located in St. Marys, Georgia, and managed by Bobby Jones Links, is hiring for an Irrigation Technician. Set within a master-planned community and offering a suite of amenities, Osprey Cove was designed by PGA Tour winner Mark McCumber. The layout is a testament to his commitment to establishing a course that is defined by the natural characteristics of the land and river. Osprey Cove has earned numerous accolades and has been listed among Golfweek's "Top 5 in Georgia" and Golf and Travel's "Top 100 Modern Courses."

Responsibilities of the Irrigation Technician at Osprey Cove Golf Club include:

• Attends the monthly agronomy staff meeting with the golf course personnel that covers training, customer service, and progress since the prior month.
• Safely operates the maintenance equipment.
• Reports any mechanical issues to the Superintendent.
• Installs and maintains all phases of irrigation systems.
• Sets and adjusts timers, valves, and controllers.
• Tests systems for potential issues.
• Performs grading and drainage work as needed.
• Maintains the course and its surroundings (grass, trees, plants, bushes, waste canisters).
• Assists with special projects.

• Walk and stand for long periods of time, sit, bend, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly; up to 75 lbs. occasionally and to lift overhead and push/pull, move heavy objects.

• Be exposed to outside weather conditions including temperatures over 90 and below 40 degrees.
• Work near: moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals.
