Essential Functions
- Draw blood from patients or donors in hospitals, blood banks, clinics, doctor's offices, or other settings.
- Assemble, maintain, and sterilize medical instruments such as needles, test tubes, and blood vials.
- Verify patient or donor identity to ensure proper labeling of the blood.
- Track collected specimens by labeling, processing, and shipping them to the relevant laboratories for testing.
- Keep a record of all patient interactions while strictly adhering to confidentiality and other ethical codes.
- Dispose of blood or biohazardous wastes in accordance with applicable laws, standards, or policies.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Strong understanding of proper patient identification, labeling, tracking, and safe handling procedures.
- Proof of COVID vaccination
- 18 years old and above
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of reliability and a strong patient-focused approach.
- Proficient in various computer software programs necessary for the role.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
