We are seeking a Chinese bilingual Investment Sales Associate for our real estate investment management firm. This person will be an integral part of the team and have the opportunity for significant career advancement. The ideal candidate will have strong sales and business development experience, an extroverted personality, and excellent organizational skills.
The Sales Associate will develop and execute strategic initiatives to attract investors, including high-net-worth individuals, family offices, institutional investors, and strategic partners, to raise capital for our private equity and credit funds. This individual will also maintain an accurate and updated database to generate sales reports and updates for investors and company executives. The Sales Associate will participate in planning and organizing online webinars and in-person client events, both in the U.S. and abroad.
The Sales Associate will report to a managing director and work closely with all the members of the business development team and other members of the firm in a dynamic, cross-functional, and fast-paced work environment.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Initiate outreach to existing investors to understand investors' interests, personal investment goals, risk appetite, and expected ROI
- Meet sales objectives and grow new client base
- Follow up with investors after meetings to maintain engagement
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential investors through effective communication, presentations, and networking activities, serving as the primary point of contact for investor inquiries and concerns
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for strategic partnerships and develop business relationships with firms and organizations (family offices, wealth managers/RIAs, etc.)
- Provide investors with comprehensive information about the firm's investment strategy, performance, and potential returns, leveraging detailed due diligence materials and market insights
- Manage and update CRM with investor information and progress/status
- Assist with organizing online webinars and investor events, including client appreciation events, VIP workshops, etc.
Skills/Background
- 2-3 years working experience; sales or business development-oriented role is required
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Polished verbal and written professional communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Knowledge/experience with MS Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, and CRM systems
- Experience working with high-net-worth individuals is a plus
- Proven ability to undertake and complete multiple projects and to work efficiently and diligently under pressure
- Open to learning new skills and the flexibility to work during off-hours due to time zone differences
- Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. is required
- Reading, writing, and verbal fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) is required
