Investment Operations Associate

The role will be based in Fort Lauderdale, FL with the expectation of a hybrid work model.
PineBridge Investments is actively seeking a motivated and meticulous Investment Operations Associate to join our esteemed Middle Office group. In this critical role, you will play an integral part in supporting our Fixed Income, Equity, and Multi-Asset Teams. Reporting directly to the Vice President, Investment Operations, you will give to the seamless execution of day-to-day Investment Operations.
Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide crucial support for trade executions and settlements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in collaboration with portfolio managers and traders
• Act as a dedicated point of contact for internal teams, clients, and brokers, promptly addressing and resolving issues to minimize client exposure to operational challenges
• Be responsible for data management and reconciliation processes, ensuring precision in financial transactions and reporting
• Implement risk management strategies, identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational risks to give to the stability of Investment Operations
• Directly be responsible for the outsourced Middle Office service provider (State Street IMS), leading trade settlements, reconciliations, onboarding, and corporate actions
• Collaborate across multiple departments to facilitate the onboarding and support functions of derivatives products, including Futures, FX Forwards, Total Return Swaps, and Options
• Continuously review and improve operational procedures to ensure optimal efficiency
• Serve as an escalation point for all queries, regardless of size, ensuring a sense of urgency in resolution to maintain operational integrity.
• Conduct reviews of operations, ensuring consistent and efficient performance
• Publish daily cash projections reports for the Investment Team, providing timely and accurate information for decision-making
• Undertake ad hoc projects improving and developing operational capabilities, contributing to ongoing process improvements.
• Work on daily, weekly, and monthly client reports, including NAV Reconciliations, Holdings Report, and Trade Blotters, ensuring accuracy, and meeting internal and external expectations

Qualifications:
To excel in the role of Investment Operations Associate, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Must currently reside in Florida, preferably in proximity to the Ft. Lauderdale area, as this is a hybrid role involving both in-office and remote work
• A minimum of 5 years of proven industry experience in Middle office operations or Custody middle office operations experience is crucial
• Familiarity with MYSS (My State Street), Custody portals, Bloomberg is a plus - training will be provided for the right candidate
• Basic knowledge in Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate effective interaction with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Adaptability and ability to thrive in a Fast-Paced environment to efficiently prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, contributing positively to a multifaceted work culture
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to ensure the timely completion of tasks and projects.

• Salary Range: $77k-$88k annually + bonus + benefits
