Tasks, Projects & Goals Research various industries and asset classes to help develop and refine actionable investment ideas and theses; Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses used to support the underwriting of prospective investment; Assist in building robust, flexible financial models to support deal underwriting and deal structuring efforts, as directed by deal team leads; Assist in performing other ad-hoc analysis to support transaction negotiations; Prepare internal investment memoranda and supporting diligence materials used to provide investment recommendations to the Investment Committee and the firms internal constituents; Listen and participate in Investment Committee and new investment pipeline meetings; Assist in preparing portfolio performance analysis and deal summaries used for external communication with investors; Active involvement throughout the full deal life cycle of both new and existing investments; Engage in all VPC social events and activities. Who Were Looking for: Sophomore or Junior in undergraduate studies in Accounting, Economics, Finance or related field; Minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA Basic understanding of principles in finance, accounting, credit analysis, and valuation; Strong communication and analytic skills Candidates must be able to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
