This position reports directly to the Director of Investments and works closely with the organization's cash management and accounting teams. The Investment Analyst supports the review and analysis of the long-term and short-term investment portfolios across the AmeriHealth Caritas family of companies, as well as the pension portfolio. In collaboration with the Director of Investments, the Investment Analyst's responsibilities may include, but are not limited, to the following items.
- Day-to-day monitoring of the organization's investment portfolios and related activities
- Completing reconciliations between investment manager and custodian bank records
- Completing reconciliations of investment management, investment consultant, and custodian fees
- Preparing investment presentation materials and evaluating opportunities for enhanced reporting capabilities
- Preparing and disseminating monthly and quarterly investment reports to key stakeholders
- Preparing investment materials for the AmeriHealth Caritas board of directors, investment committee and retirement plan committees, and Plan boards
- Completing annual audit requests and/or required quarterly questionnaires
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of investment policies and procedures
- Screening investment portfolios for compliance with established policies and procedures
- Providing analysis and research in support of asset allocation reviews, manager selection and asset allocation changes, as appropriate
- Maintaining spreadsheets and databases used to support portfolio management efforts
- Supporting the oversight of investment managers and vendor relationships (i.e., investment consultants, custodians, retirement plan recordkeeper, etc.), including vendor selection
Education/ Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree required (Accounting of Finance preferred)
- CFA and/or CIPM designation preferred
- Results oriented
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills required
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external parties at all levels required
- 1to 3 years experience in related field required.
