See Yourself as an Investment Analyst

The Investment Analyst supports the treasury and investment functions of the finance department, focusing on operational efficiencies and reporting. Provides ad-hoc analysis and research on cash and investment activity.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with daily cash management function.

  • Design and maintain reports and perform analysis of treasury activities and the investment portfolio.

  • Support and lead efforts to automate manual processes.

  • Assist with month-end and quarter-end treasury operations, compliance and reporting.

  • Pro-actively contribute to the data management process through effective data research and analysis.

  • Lead and contribute to cross-functional project teams with a focus on improving data quality, reporting accuracy, and efficiency.

  • Maintain coverage of existing investment managers and strategies.

  • Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.

  • While this role is primarily a remote position, the incumbent may be required to visit office locations for specific needs related to the role. These visits will be scheduled as necessary and in accordance with the company's policies and guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Education and Prior Work-Related Experience:

  • Degree Requirement: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience

  • Work Experience: 1 or more years of prior work-related experience

Additional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with a minimum of 1-3 years industry experience

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and data management skills.

  • Ability to digest vast amounts of data, manipulate it, and identify correlations though a variety of statistical techniques

  • Proven ability to distill large amounts of data into analysis that can be easily interpreted by management.

Preferred Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Years of Prior Work-Related Experience: 1-3 years of technical experience

Other Qualifications, including any special skills, capabilities, and competencies:

  • Key competencies in: critical thinking, analytical & problem solving skills, and planning and organizing work

  • Excellent presentation skills (including oral and written) and ability to create meaningful management reporting

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • High-level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and MS Office

  • Ability to work independently and accurately with a high regard and attention to detail

  • Experience with Bloomberg or other financial tools

  • CFA charter holder/CTP or interest in pursuing CFA charter/CTP is preferred or progress towards

  • Work in a team environment; balancing and prioritizing requests from multiple managers and departments within Radian

  • Exceptional time management skills

  • CFA, CTP or in pursuit preferred or MBA
