Salary: Salary $41.80 hourly. Location: Boise, Idaho. As Idaho's capital, Boise is a growing city of approximately 240,000 and serves as headquarters for several major national and international corporations. Boise offers a rich variety of both cultural and recreational opportunities. Idaho's world-famous fly-fishing, biking, skiing, kayaking and hiking are all within close proximity.

Primary Duties: The successful applicant will be assigned to the Attorney General's Medicaid Fraud Control Unit (MFCU). The federally funded and mandated MFCU is an interdisciplinary team dedicated to protecting vulnerable individuals and safeguarding the finite resources on which they depend. The investigator conducts interviews; obtains and analyzes business-related documents; serves subpoenas; obtains and executes search warrants; prepares reports and exhibits; maintains investigative case files; testifies in court; and interfaces with other law enforcement agencies.

Frequent travel throughout Idaho is required .

Requirements: Applicants must possess all of the following:

Current Idaho POST Certification of Intermediate level or higher; minimum education of a high school diploma or equivalent; at least five years law enforcement experience, preferably with an emphasis in investigations; above-average communication and interpersonal skills; a thorough understanding of laws, policies, and rules of evidence applicable to Idaho law enforcement service; ability to work in a close-knit team environment with other investigators and prosecutors; enthusiasm for public service.
