Investigations may include arenas of corruption including executive, judicial, legislative, vendor contract, regulatory, election fraud, and systemic law enforcement corruption.
As an Investigator II, you will carry a special position of trust and will be expected to conduct yourselves and work in accordance with standards set forth in the Office of Attorney General policies and guidelines, and to operate within the applicable statutes and regulations.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Conducts investigations of highly complex time-consuming and sensitive criminal and non-criminal investigations
- Interviews suspects and witnesses
- Secures and serves warrants and summonses
- Conducts surveillance and makes arrests
- Testifies in court proceedings
- Required to carry and/or use a firearm
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to produce quality written reports
- Ability to assimilate large volumes of information in order to successfully investigate complicated and multifaceted white-collar cases
