Job Title: Warehouse and Inventory Specialist

Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Warehouse and Inventory Specialist to join our team at a dynamic food manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and providing support to our production team. This role requires proficiency in operating reach trucks and forklifts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate reach trucks and forklifts safely and efficiently for various warehouse tasks.
- Assist in the shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock counts, and report discrepancies.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse for optimal efficiency and cleanliness.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure the timely availability of materials and products.
- Implement inventory management procedures to minimize losses and maximize warehouse efficiency.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations within the warehouse environment.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials from trucks and storage areas.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or required by the Plant Director.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in logistics or a related field are a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, particularly in a food manufacturing setting.
- Valid certification to operate reach trucks and forklifts.
- Strong understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management software.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.38 - $26.54 per hour
Expected hours: 80 per week
