As an Inventory Technician, you will play a crucial role in the proper inspection, counting, and packing of cannabis products for distribution to our retail stores in compliance with the Office of Medical Marijuana Use (OMMU) standards in the state of Florida.
Core Responsibilities
- Pack multiple orders for various customers daily.
- Work with the distribution manager to meet packing deadlines and prep orders for the delivery team.
- Investigate discrepancies within inventory and remediate.
- Identify potential variance of orders before they are distributed and solve problems if necessary.
- Responsible for all the products stored in the distribution center.
- Alternate with delivery drivers occasionally to meet weekly deadlines.
- Maintain professional communication with customers to relay times of arrival and status updates.
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle.
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure accuracy of inventory.
- Complete logs and reports.
- Conduct detailed inspections on incoming products and adhere to quality assurance standards.
- Communicate effectively with the manufacturing team to enable a smooth hand-off of products.
- Ability to play close attention to detail while reviewing manifests, orders, packing lists, and other paperwork.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the delivery team.
- Maintain compliance throughout the inventory process by adhering to strict state medical cannabis regulations.
- Verify orders match delivery manifests.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Passion for and knowledgeable about Cannabis.
- Passion for cannabis culture.
- Previous experience in inventory positions is required.
- Proficiency in Dutchie, Excel, and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of medical cannabis products and compliance with OMMU standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Possess the ability to professionally and respectfully engage with personnel, visitors, government agencies and the general public.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Must have excellent problem-solving skills.
- Consistently delivers high-quality outputs with strong attention to detail.
- Works effectively under tight deadlines, respond to changing priorities and coordinate multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

Work Environment:
This employee will also be required to operate a motor vehicle with a valid FL Drivers License.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands or feet, reach with hands and arms and may be required to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work.
