SalaryAMCO Proteins is looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Inventory Specialistto join our team. The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate records for all raw materials, components, and finished goods across all facilities. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of inventory management practices in a manufacturing environment.
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for the awareness, accuracy, and Inter-Company (ICT) movement of all raw materials, components, and finished goods
- Conduct weekly cycle counts across all facilities to verify stock levels and identify discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system, ensuring data integrity and timely updates.
- Manage the Post Production Inventory (PPI) process.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices to optimize inventory levels and minimize excess stock.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including issues related to shipment errors, returns, and damages
- Prepare and present regular inventory reports to management, highlighting key metrics such as stock turnover rates, inventory accuracy, and aging stock.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing inventory management processes.
- Facilitate year end physical inventory across all facilities.
