Inventory Specialist is an administrative position reporting to the Inventory Manager. Specialists are responsible for tracking and converting plants and inventory from clone through plant harvest and through the production of concentrates to finished packaged goods. This role is also responsible for maintaining control of inventory within our tracking systems and for helping ensure we remain in compliance with AZDHS. Inventory Specialists will be focused on compliance and adherence to state regulations as well as ensuring tracking of variance, material loss and yields is done accurately and in a timely manner. This position specializes in bulk transport, bulk receiving and non-cannabis inventory tracking and organization.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Adherence to all SOPs in all activities
- Monitors and records intake of non-cannabis inventory
- Maintains inventory of the non cannabis materials and supplies
- Develops and maintains organization of non cannabis inventory
- Intakes, organizes and stores third party bulk inventory
- Ensures compliance of materials for intake
- Assists in monitoring and recording raw materials and yields from those materials
- Reconciles, daily, Inventory Software with Physical Inventory with the ability to describe any discrepancies in full detail.
- Verifies, records and reports stock levels of both medicated and non medicated inventory for end of month reporting
- Records and disposes of waste in accordance with company policy and state regulations.
- Run reports for inventory-related information
- Ensures all functions are performed to the highest standard of quality, compliance and successfully conforms to all state regulations, organizational standards and procedures, and security protocols.
- Works successfully in a team setting as well as independently
- Manages time efficiently in order to help meet productivity goals while consistently producing quality work.
- Assists in cross training other inventory team members
Essential Duties/Responsibilities (quality Control)
- Performs verification of materials on intake.
- Verifies that finished goods meet specifications.
- Verifies that all documentation is complete.
- Documents non-compliance and works with Manager if further action is needed.
- Submits all waste to the appropriate location for particulate identification or microbial analysis if needed, and disposes of, in accordance with company policy and state regulations.

Minimum Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Certification/Etc.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
- Valid Arizona Drivers License
- Knowledge of the cannabis plant.
- General knowledge and understanding of current medical and recreational marijuana laws.
- Proficiency in windows-based software and Seed to Sale applications.
- Experience in a dispensary, cultivation facility or assembly line production environment (1 year recommended).
- Experience in inventory or warehouse (1 year desired).
