A great UHY client is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join their team. Candidates must have experience with either healthcare or medical equipmentinventory experience. The ideal candidate will have inventory experience and will be able to partner with procurement.
The Inventory Control Specialist is an onsite position. This is a client direct hire position.
Inventory Control Specialist Duties:
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure proper inventory levels are maintained
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvement
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and products
- Monitor and track inventory movements, including transfers, returns, and adjustments
- Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures
- Assist in the development of production planning strategies based on inventory levels
Inventory Control Specialist Qualifications:
- Inventory experience with healthcare or medical equipment inventory
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
- Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and practices
- Proficient in using inventory management software and tools (e.g., Tableau)
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and processes
- Experience working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate a forklift is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
