Form of workThis position is within the GP Packaging & Cellulose Business Segment, assigned to the P&C Digital Core transformation program. This position creates long-term value through the design and successful delivery of Infor's M3 ERP and IBP Supply Chain Planning Suite. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of practical experience in supply chain functions such as Demand Planning, Production Planning, Inventory Planning or Order Management.
The Inventory Planner is responsible for ensuring availability of finished goods to support production efficiency and demand fulfillment. This role works closely with supply planners, production planners, mill, customer service and supply chain teams to oversee real time warehouse events, including firmed orders and production status to determine whether to create, change, or cancel replenishment orders. A successful Inventory Planner executes an integrated material management process to reduce transaction costs and improve service levels. The selected candidate must possess strong data-processing, communication, and problem-solving skills.
What You Will Do
- Own process for generation, evaluation, release and execution of distribution orders in Infor M3 ERP, as well as creation of necessary documentation
- Ensure availability of finished goods to support production efficiency while maintaining service levels
- Monitor and track inventory levels and reconcile inventory variances to identify root causes and supply possible solutions
- Collaborate with Customer Service/Sales to coordinate the deployment of unassigned inventory
- Collaborate with IBP team to maintain inventory planning assumptions including safety stocks, lead times, order quantities, and inventory strategy, amongst others
- Collaborate with Customer Service to resolve customer complaints
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in supply chain functions: Demand Planning, Production Planning, or Inventory Planning
- Knowledge of Supply Chain processes
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience with Infor M3 ERP and/or Infor supply chain planning solutions (Demand Planning, Inventory Planning and/or Supply Planning)
- Experience in Pulp & Paper industry
