Inventory Coordinator

Position Summary

The Bissell Brothers (BB) Inventory Coordinator is responsible for connecting the many inventory channels and departments within BB. This position will focus on the inventory coordination and organization of all finished goods intended for sale in our two taprooms, including packaged beer in all formats, and merchandise. This role will ensure that inventory counts are input, accurately reported, and recorded into appropriate management systems and Point Of Sale (POS) platforms. This position will report directly to BB Portland’s FOH Manager and Merchandise Manager, and will work closely with Wholesale, Production, and the BB Three Rivers (BB3R) management team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The qualified applicant will:

• Receive ordered merchandise/branded supplies and organize backstock in the BB Portland taproom and warehouse
• Act as point person/liaison for all inventory that is intended for FOH sale in BB Portland and BB3R
• Sort inventory, organize, and pull items for transport between BB Portland and BB3R in Milo
• Facilitate orders of merchandise from our online store (pack, ship, and provide customer service)
• Restock the BB Portland taproom, maintaining flow of inventory to retail space and sales floor
• Add new merchandise to the sales floor
• Input daily and weekly inventory counts on packaged beer (kegs, bottles, and cans) in BB Portland’s walk-ins (both taproom and warehouse)
• Manage designated space for packaged beer intended for FOH sale in BB Portland’s walk-ins
• Update BB Portland’s POS platform to maintain accurate inventory counts
• Utilize FOH’s draft map to maintain proper inventory channels of kegged beer being poured in BB Portland’s taproom
• Continually evaluate processes and systems to identify, drive, and implement improvement
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces
• Assist with interdepartmental inventory counts
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Previous experience in inventory coordination/organization preferred
• Craft beer industry experience preferred, but not required
• Proficient knowledge of inventory management databases and Microsoft Office

software; particularly Excel, Ekos Inventory Management Software, Square Point Of Sale

• Results-oriented with ability to identify and deliver data-based solutions
• Ability to efficiently multitask and meet deadlines
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and work under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to execute tasks with independent problem-solving skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to operate a Forklift (Forklift Certification will be required for this position)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 31 – 40 per week
