Summary/ Objective
The ideal candidate will have previous inventory experience in a shop environment. This position will perform storeroom and inventory related duties proficiently and accurately.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining inventory levels of plant maintenance parts, keeping the parts room organized.
- Receives, stores, pulls and delivers parts to plant maintenance mechanics.
- Make sure parts are being purchase form approve suppliers.
- Coordinate with Document Specialist when ordering parts from a new supplier.
- Maintains records.
- Maintains orderly parts storage areas, clean floors, shelving, bins, aisle ways, docks and work areas.
- Inventory Coordinator has some latitude for independent action within established guidelines but is supervised by Maintenance Supervisor/Manager.
- Drives company truck to pick up incoming stock or to pick up and deliver parts to units in other buildings.
- Receives all inbound MRO and reconcile packing slips to purchase orders.
- Makes necessary copies and notations for discrepancies and back orders.
- Daily fiscal inventory of stockroom.
- Keeps work area clean.
- Reports any irregularity in parts room to the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager.
- Tracks parts being used on equipment and leaving parts room.
- Coordinate rebuilds of equipment and have parts on standby.
- Create a rebuild/working schedule of equipment that will need work.
- Other duties as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. without assistance; up to 50 pounds with assistance.
- Must be able to stoop and bending for prolonged periods.
- Must be able to work in changing weather conditions – heat/cold.
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Extended work hours are occasionally required.
Travel:
Occasional travel is required.
Required Education and Experience
•High school diploma or equivalent preferred
•Minimum 2 years’ experience in maintenance inventory
- This position needs to have advanced computer, math and accounting skills
•Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, customer service skills and the ability to prioritize while handling multiple tasks is required.
