Job description
Position Responsibilities:
- Cycle count all raw materials, finished goods, and WIP (work in progress) per the cycle count schedule
- Backup for production control; scheduling plant production periodically and covering scheduling as needed (i.e. vacations and/or split shifts worked)
- Enter Production Daily
- Follow company protocol and procedure for counting and making inventory adjustments
- Analyze & troubleshoot problems with inventory and/or cycle counts in a timely fashion
- Responsible for keeping the inventory as accurate as possible utilizing reports and investigation
- Consolidate all core, jacket and FG as needed while performing cycle counts
- Ensure all product is in its proper place while counting
- Assist in manager lead quarterly & annual inventories
- Maintain organization and rotating of stock materials
- Responsible for tracking non-inventoried items and keeping inventory stocked at all times
- Work directly with Purchasing, Logistics and Operations Manager to assist in all intercompany transfers.
- Keep labels organized and fully stocked in production office
- Must be able to drive industrial forklift
- Backup for Logistics Coordinator & assist shipping as needed.
- Assist in QC testing & auditing as needed.
- Reliable backup for Logistics Coordinator
- All other duties as assigned by the Plant Operations Manager
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication & math skills required
- Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent, some college preferred
- Driver's License and Forklift Experience Required with Current Forklift Certification preferred
- Extremely detail oriented and meticulous with good organizational skills
- Must have general understanding of computers with data entry skills
- Strong clerical skills to help with any organizational & recording responsibilities
- Must be self-motivated
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Production & Inventory Control is preferred
- Ability to take direction from management & work independently with minimal supervision
Job Type: Full-time
