Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Inventory Control Manager who will own the overall Inventory Control, inventory flow, and inventory accuracy processes for Safe Life Defense. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversees inventory for entire company
- Maintains/exceeds all inventory accuracy goals
- Publishes reports, analyzes data, tracks performance by area, and determines problems and root causes; communicates results and recommends appropriate action.
- Leads monthly and year-end Inventory reconciliation process
- Establishes and maintains effective communication with employees and senior leadership.
- Manages a team of five Inventory Control staff members
- Conducts annual employee reviews and delivers positive and negative feedback including corrective action.
- Ensures the training of and adherence to all standard operation procedures. Help develop processes and control process level procedures.
- Maintains effective and timely completion of projects and duties as requested, and ability to perform all management functions when necessary.
- Maintains thorough knowledge of all inventory processes, SOPs, continuous improvement, equipment, safety, and other regulatory requirements.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proven experience as inventory manager or similar position
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills with a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Inventory Control systems
- An analytical mind with strong math skills
- Thorough knowledge of manufacturing and warehouse operations preferred
- Must be able to physically move throughout the facility to monitory the flow of merchandise.
- Working knowledge of inventory management software is a plus.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
