Job description

Silver Lion Farms is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory & Quality Control Managerto join our team onsite at our Farm located in Ely, Nevada.
As ourInventory & Quality Control, youwill ensure that Silver Lion Farms' post-harvest product shipments (including CBD Flower, CBD Gummies, Hemp Cigarettes, etc.) meet and exceed client expectations and will be responsible for ensuring that our products, packaging, quality, and shipments meet the company's standards. This role is also responsible for ensuring that our inventory is maintained in an accurate and compliant manner.
This role requires that you work onsite in our 350,000-square-foot greenhouse and reports to our Director of Greenhouse Operations.

Responsibilities
Inventory:
  • Systematically develop and maintain inventory as "audit ready"
  • Monitor levels and quality of all Plants in Process and Finished Goods Products
  • Complete all forms and logs associated with post-harvest processes and inventory responsibilities
  • Effectively communicate with management and sales team to ensure the business has a consistent supply of inventory available to meet needs
  • Complete regular audits of stored products to pull, track/log damaged or expiring products

Compliance & Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure compliance and accuracy involving all product tracking, product security, and product movement procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations and Company Standards in all activities under your supervision
  • Provide oversight, training, and coaching to team members to ensure the highest level of quality, efficiency, and output
  • Develop and execute standard operating procedures (SOP) and processes accurately
  • Monitor the drying, bucking, trimming, and packaging processes to ensure that quality standards are achieved

Shipping & Fulfillment:
  • Aid in the development of product quality SOPs for shipment to customers
  • Carry out quality assessment measures of all products ready to be shipped
  • Recommend improvement measures to processes to ensure quality standards are met
  • Effectively pull and prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped
  • Combine and repack orders that require such handling when needed and report quality variances when appropriate to production & sales teams
  • Review all orders to ensure order accuracy and quality standards
  • Ship all products per SOP
  • Communicate with the Sales & Marketing Team after each shipment to verify completion and manner of shipment, to include a photo of the product prior to final packaging
  • Aid in monitoring customer product satisfaction levels through follow-up communication and randomized quality surveys

General:
  • Actively participate in meetings, report on inventory levels test results, and provide solutions-based commentary
  • Collaborate closely with Sales & Marketing and Finance & Accounting to maintain coordination and integration

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's, Associates Degree, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of inventory, logistics, Quality, Fulfillment and/or Supply Chain experience (Cannabis industry preferred)
  • Strong computer skills and Microsoft Suite experience
  • Experience working with inventory management software preferred
  • Experience conducting tracking and data analysis preferred
  • Product and inventory management certification a plus
  • Experience within the cannabis industry is a plus
  • METRC certification/or compliance training a plus
