Who we are looking for:

We are currently looking for an Inventory Control Clerk to be based out of De Pere, WI. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this person will be responsible for tracking and recording daily receipt of purchased and manufactured materials.

The ideal candidate will have JDE inventory and AS400 experience. Experience working within a manufacturing and warehouse environment required. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.

What you’ll do:

• Track and record daily receipt of purchased and manufactured materials.
• Administer Material Reconciliation Program, including creating usage sheets, updating planning system, tracking finished goods inventory, investigating variances and tracking location accuracy.
• Record shuttles to and from outside warehouses/vendors, including filing shuttle paperwork.
• Assist with receipts of raw and finished products – customer returns, customer billing, scrap billing, and consigned material.
• Engage in frequent interaction and communication with outside processing employees, mill personnel, mill supervisor and value stream managers.
• Cross train for coverage of receiving and transportation planning, materials planning, and scheduling.

What you’ll bring:

• Knowledge and experience working within a manufacturing and warehouse environment required.
• Strong analytical skills.
• SAP or JDE experience.
• Team player with strong collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office software.
• Attention to detail.

Within 3 months, you’ll:

• Complete Atkore immersion program.
• Understand overall processes and product knowledge.
• Established communication with key plant stakeholders.

Within 6 months, you’ll:

• Detailed understanding of key inventory products.
• Key contributor to problem solving activities.
• Understand root cause for known inventory issues and be able to work through outside sources for products and materials.

Within 12 months, you’ll:

• Establish Inventory Control processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve and create a cycle count process for department.
• Work with all levels of organization to implement real time problem solving.
