Job Description
Scope and Purpose:
An Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for managing the companies’ inventory and ensures that inventory levels are accurate, and that inventory is kept in a cost-effective manner.
Principle Duties and Areas of Responsibility:
To ensure that inventory levels are in line with G3 company goals, keeping inventory records and performing cycle counts and updating inventory records and adjustments as needed.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Monitor and maintain current inventory levels in an ERP system.
• Conduct regular cycle counts.
• Reconcile inventory quantities in ERP system.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and data.
• Maintain Inventory Control procedures.
• Report on inventory levels and stock movement.
• Work with materials manager on action plans
• Other duties as needed.
Minimum Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
Skills and knowledge required by this position would generally require a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in business or relatable work experience.
Skills and Abilities:
• Experience with inventory principles
• Understanding of inventory cycle counting.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Experience with an ERP system (Epicor or similar).
• Good math skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
