Position Summary:
Penske Logistics is looking for an Inventory Clerk to become part of an excellent team at our Dayton, NJ location. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant and outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment. This position will handle various office and administrative duties that may include data tracking, cycle counts, audit counts, and generating reports. This position will assist in keeping accurate inventory, ensuring the system inventory in the WMS matches the physical inventory stored at the facility.

Major Responsibilities:
• Various office and administrative duties, which may include data tracking, cycle counts, audit counts, and generating reports.
• Audit of counts conducted by others.
• Ensure the integrity of product both inbound and outbound.
• Involve Safety team as required by location.
• Prioritize workload and have flexibility to adjust based on position requirement
• Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.
• Other projects and tasks assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
• 1-2+ years of cycle counting and clerk experience.
• Machine operator experience (order picker) strongly preferred.
• Experience with data entry and record keeping required.
• Must have excellent attention to detail and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.
