Senior Inventory Clerk

Job Overview:

First Priority Group is seeking a highly organized and experienced Senior Inventory Clerk to join our team at our Manchester, New Jersey manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, warehouse operations, purchasing and possess excellent computer skills. This role will play a critical part in ensuring accurate inventory levels and efficient warehouse operations to support our customers’ needs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in receiving, organizing and maintaining inventory of emergency vehicle parts.
• Collaborate with the Purchasing Department to process parts orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Enter relevant data into the inventory management system, including part numbers, quantities, and locations.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, locations, and transactions using inventory management software.
• Monitor and analyze inventory data to identify trends, optimize inventory levels, and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
• Collaborate with the purchasing department to forecast inventory needs and place orders with suppliers as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or related field
• Proficiency in inventory management software, Microsoft Office suite and basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment a plus.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• Supply chain management: 2 years (Preferred)
• Warehouse: 2 years (Preferred)
• Inventory management: 3 years (Required)
