Ensures supply of new and used vehicles is managed and coordinated in the most effective manner. Maintains effective system to process trade ins and purchases, and new vehicles to be front line ready within 3 days. Ensures vehicles are merchandised with appropriate stickers and disclosures. Ensures every vehicle has online photos and other online merchandising.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Compares serial numbers of incoming cars against paperwork.

Inspects vehicles to detect damage and to verify the presence everything on Book Sheet..

Parks vehicles in assigned areas.

Catalogs and stores keys.

Assigns stock control numbers stickers to cars.

Moves sold vehicles to maximize use of space and keep the lot in order.

Delivers vehicles to the service department and detail department.

Services vehicles in storage to protect tires, battery, and finish against deterioration.

Ensures all vehicles have proper display tags on them (ie. All regulated paperwork is displayed properly on vehicles.)

Ensures vehicles have good online presence. (photos, descriptions)

Completes weekly inventory of all new and preowned vehicles.

Assists in Wholesale process.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

REASONING ABILITY

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Walking from all departments of the dealership and lot to find vehicles and coordinate transportation to correct areas.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
